Teaching License Options
The programs listed below are available through the Marietta College Bridges to Teaching Post-Baccalaureate Program. All courses are delivered online and asynchronously. This means you can view course content on your own schedule during the semester the course is offered. All programs meet the requirements for the initial Ohio teaching license. Information about reciprocity with teacher licenses in other states is available.

What Will I be Able to Teach?
Grades Kindergarten through 12 Special Education for students with mild to moderate needs
Program Admission
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Undergraduate GPA of 2.75
- Transcript Content Audit (completed by program staff)
Admission to Clinical Practicum
- Program GPA of 3.0
- Passage of OAE Content Exam
Initial Teaching License
- Successful completion of required courses
- Successful completion of clinical practicum
- Passage of OAE Assessment of Pedagogy
